Just as Istanbul has Hagia Sophia, and Rome has St. Peter’s Basilica, so Belgrade can be proud of the Saint Sava temple, one of the largest orthodox Christian temples in the world. The temple is adorned by 18 gilded crosses, and the insides of the temple basements will leave you breathless. The temple is only 2.8 km away from the accommodation.
Some 9 km from the accommodation you will find the Ada Ciganlija peninsula with it’s more than 50 different sport grounds, you can take a swim or sunbathe during summer, ride a bike or just relax in one of the beachside cafes. The peninsula is open year-round.
